Cottage cheese, and more strawberries!

Today I made my first cottage cheese! It was so easy :)

3 pints strawberry freezer jam.

And so it begins....

I defrosted the big freezer today... Just bits of veggies, fruits, some pesto, and carmelized onions are all that's left from last year. Freezing 4 quarts strawberries and two quarts rhubarb today.

I have discovered strawberry heaven. It is:

1 pint local fresh strawberries
whatever alpine strawberries you can find in your garden
dressed with a smidgen of lemon juice, elderflower cordial, honey, and a bit of homemade peach liqueur (or red wine).
