THUNDERSNOW!

Yep, it was 70+ degrees here in Iowa 2 days ago, and people were running around in shorts and sandals. Now? Thundersnow.

We had a dyeing class at my shop this past weekend - and it was a BLAST! We dyed wool fabric, roving, yarn, and fleece (locks), using a different technique for each. it was SO MUCH FUN! My friend Abi is a wonderful teacher and fiber artist. :) Visit my shop blog to see more dyed goodies!

Gus (Asparagus) is about 4 1/2 months old, and he just LOVES his big brother, Earl Grey!

This is some roving i dyed with leftover tea from my still, and then spun. It's an OKAY color, but I will probably overdye it with something else. I believe this is dyed with rosemary.

Gratuitous pet pictures! Just cuz they're so damn cute. This is Ollie, our mastiff-mix doggie, passed out on the couch. He has no pride.
