Crazy, crazy, CRAZY busy at work this weekend. So no interesting posting for a few days. My bookswap pal, if you're reading this, I promise to get my bookswap questionnaire on in the next few days. :) However, once I return from the land of crazy-busy holiday shopkeeping, I have more knitterly FO's to post, and, some really, REALLY beautiful dyed silk scarves...the natural dyeing experimentation is going well. :)

I took a dyeing class this past April, and dyed LOTS of superwash yarn in some really bright colors. Which inspired me to make these holiday gifts - 2 pairs of pedicure socks (they're toeless, so you slip on a pair of flip-flops and wear them when you get a pedicure, so as not to muss your fresh toe polish. I think it's a fabulous idea for those of us in cold climates who love pedicures!), and 3 pairs of really bright wristwarmers. I didn't really use a pattern for either of them - in fact, all the wristwarmers are different.
Knitting progress! Well, I wanted to post this sock, because my wondermous Soap Dish pal sent me this amazing yarn, and I wanted to show her how much I've been enjoying it! It's the knitpicks blend of wool and silk, and I REALLY like it! it has beautiful stitch definition, a lovely sheen, and is very, VERY soft and pleasant to wear. I did one one some lovely size 2 bamboo needles my sockret pal sent me...then had to switch to holiday knitting. But I will get back and finish this second sock the second the holidays are over!!
