I was gifted this GORGEOUS treadle sewing machine! A friend had one she didn't want anymore, and knew I was interested in them. So she just gave it to me! I haven't had ANY time to play with it yet , but I did get these quick pictures and looked up the serial number. If I'm figuring it correctly, this machine was made in 1902 in New Jersey. It's a busy week here, and I don't have much time to work on it, but I'm REALLY wanting to start cleaning and restoring it, and get it working. ALSO? It has a GORGEOUS puzzlebox full of attachments that came with it. Pics of that coming soon......

Awesome~it's a Sphinx 27. Do you have a pic of your other machine? I'm thinking the shuttles are interchangeable.
