For those of you that don't know, this is what I look like, most days.
(waiting for those who know me to pick themselves up off the floor and wipe the tears laughter from their eyes).
Okay, maybe not, but Jill gave me this wonderful award anyway!
Sorry I've taken so long to get to it, Jill, but, as you know - I've had a writing project looming over my head, and of course, my muse decided to take a leave of absence. (My muse is a capricious bitch who enjoys leaving me stranded when I NEED to write something.)
So now my Muse has entered the room again. I enticed her with spinning, wine, running and long hot baths -all things she enjoys (hmmm she sounds a lot like me) so she is currently hovering just over my left shoulder, and allowing me to write.
so I'd best do it before she heads off to Bali or something.
let's see, I'm supposed to list 5 addictions. Here goes -in no particular order:
1) Creating
It took me a long time to figure this out about myself, but here it is. If I'm not creating something, I'm not happy. Creativity takes SO many forms - making music, cooking dinner, writing, spinning, knitting, imagining, dreaming....and I NEED to create, in order to feel "right".
2) Netflix

I LOVE NETFLIX!!! I love to watch movies, and a few good tv shows. Our tv is never on actual broadcast tv- in fact, we don't even have one of those new box-thingies we need, and I don't really care. But I adore great movies! We watch several per week, and often go in themes. For example, we recently watched a bunch of movies having to do with food, such as Mostly Martha, Ratatouille, Eat Drink Man Woman, etc. - or we may pick an actor or actress, or director, and explore their works. Too wonderful!
3) Coffee
I love coffee. The taste, the smell, everything! My day usually begins with my wonderful boyfriend bringing me a cup of his home-roasted fair trade organic coffee, laced with a generous splash of Picket Fence Creamery cream. If it's a weekend, I might get a second cup, this time laced with cream,a bit of sugar, and maybe some Baileys, Frangelico, or cognac.
4) Cheese
This is pretty self-explanatory. I love cheese in all forms. I would love to be able to make good cheese, but I'm not there yet. So for now, I eat it - as often as possible, and all kinds. Stinky, soft, mild, hard - it's all delicious in my book. I have no problems being vegetarian but the idea of being vegan - no way!!!!
5) Sunlight

Okay, it sounds silly. But sunny days (like today) give me energy, pep, and joy!! Gloomy days make me want to curl up in bed and never get out. If I lived in Seattle I would never move, I think.
Okay, and I'll tag a couple of farmgirl friends, both for their outstanding creativity!

Bonne, and TribalWitch!
